Jessi L. Wyatt

Co-Founder/Director
Jessi is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with extensive experience in pediatric and developmental health across both clinical and public health settings. She has served in leadership and supervisory roles within Delaware’s Early Intervention program, supporting families of young children with complex developmental and medical needs. Jessi is highly trained in the administration and interpretation of standardized developmental and autism screening tools. In addition to her clinical work, she has provided education and mentorship to healthcare staff. Her professional background blends nursing, leadership, and business education, allowing her to approach care with both clinical expertise and organizational insight.

Jeanette G. Kernan
MSN, APRN
Co-Founder/Director
Jeanette is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience in pediatric and early childhood development, clinical education, and public health nursing. She has served as an APRN Supervisor and Lead Assessor within Delaware’s Early Intervention program, overseeing multidisciplinary evaluation teams and conducting comprehensive developmental assessments. Jeanette is extensively trained in standardized developmental screening and assessment tools and specializes in identifying early indicators of developmental and neurobehavioral differences. In addition to her clinical work, she has held long-standing roles in clinical coordination in nursing education, mentoring future healthcare professionals, and supporting academic program development. Her professional background integrates clinical expertise, leadership, and health promotion, allowing her to provide families with thoughtful, evidence-based guidance and coordinated care planning.

Dr. Judith B. Gorra
Pediatrician &
Diagnostic Specialist
Dr. Judith Gorra is a board-certified pediatrician with over 35 years of experience in clinical pediatrics, developmental evaluation, and public health medicine. She previously served as Chief Physician for the Delaware Division of Public Health in Southern Delaware, where she evaluated infants and young children for developmental concerns and guided early intervention planning. Dr. Gorra has extensive experience reviewing medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and identifying potential medical contributors to developmental and neurobehavioral differences. In addition to her clinical practice, she has held academic appointments as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, mentoring medical students and pediatric residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her background in primary care pediatrics, hospital medicine, and state-level public health leadership allows her to provide families with comprehensive, evidence-based medical insight and compassionate guidance.

Nicole L. Lehman

Speech-Language Specialist
Nicole is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over two decades of experience supporting children and adolescents across clinical, school, and early intervention settings. She has extensive expertise in speech, language, and autism evaluations, including participation in multidisciplinary diagnostic teams and ADOS observations. Nicole has worked with individuals from birth through young adulthood, providing assessments, consultative services, and collaborative care planning with families and educational teams. Her background includes leadership roles in autism programs, staff training, and the development of individualized education plans and behavioral support. Nicole brings a strong foundation in functional communication, sensory-based strategies, and evidence-based intervention approaches to help young people reach meaningful developmental goals.

Lorraine P. Vierzba

Lorraine Vierzba is an experienced educator and developmental specialist with over 15 years of experience supporting children and young adults across academic and transitional settings. She brings strong expertise in differentiated instruction, academic intervention, and identifying individual learning needs, with a focus on building readiness for next steps in learning and development. Lorraine is skilled in analyzing learning patterns and translating those insights into practical, strengths-based strategies that support growth across environments. She has collaborated closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote meaningful progress and address diverse developmental and academic needs. Within a comprehensive evaluation model, she provides valuable insight into cognitive, academic, and functional skill development.
